BDC DOMINOES RULES
1. Game is played until a team of 2 reaches 200 points. The person possessing the double six domino starts the first game. The winner of the hand starts the following games.
2. No talking or body gestures between teammates during the game. During the game, hands must remain under the domino table unless you are playing a domino.
3. If you do not have a domino to play on your turn to play, you MUST knock on the dominoes table to indicate you pass. The next player must wait until the passing player knocks on the table before he/she plays.
4. If you have 5 doubles in your hand, the player must notify the other 3 players before playing his/her first Domino. The hand is reshuffled and the last player who won the hand starts the next hand.
5. When a player locks a game, he/she will lock against the player to his/her right. The lowest score wins the hand.
6. 30 Bonus points are given to a team if any of the following occur:
- Opposing team does not have a domino to play once the first domino of the hand is played. Two consecutive passes after the first domino is played disqualifies the penalty points.
- After a domino is played, all other players pass and the player is forced to play again.
- After the end of a hand, the last domino played to win the hand can be played on either side except a double. This is called “Kapicu.” There is no bonus for winning with a double-blank domino.
- If at the time of a player’s turn, a domino is raised off the table and not played or unable to be played the opposing team gets 30 points. If the domino is seen by another player, the domino must remain face-up on the table and play at first chance.
- If you pass with a playable domino, this ends the hand. The opposing team gets 30 points and also starts the next hand.
- If you show your Dominoes to any player at the table while playing, this ends the hand, and the opposing team gets 30 points and starts the next hand.
- If you play out of turn the opposing team gets 30 points. Apply rule D.
- If you are found looking at another player’s dominoes, this is prohibited under any circumstance. The opposing team gets 30 points and starts the next hand. The player to the right of the person at fault starts the next hand.
